Scientists of the Institute of Biophysics took part in an international scientific conference in Georgia

Executive Director of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences Karim Gasimov and Head of the Laboratory of Integrative Biology, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Shahmuradov were on a scientific trip to Georgia from October 3 to 7.

The goal was to participate in an international scientific conference organized jointly by the European Union and the US State Department in Tbilisi on the topic “COVID-19: Lessons Learned” Biosafety Associations for Central Asia and the Caucasus.

During the scientific trip, the scientists also got acquainted with the activities of the NCDC/R. Lugar center and held fruitful discussions on the possibilities of cooperation in the scientific-research field.
