Familiarization Visit of BSU Students to the Laboratories of the Institute of Biophysics

From May 6 to 8, 2025, fourth-year students majoring in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University (BSU) are conducting a familiarization visit to the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The aim of the visit is to provide students with a closer understanding of fundamental and applied scientific research areas, as well as to give them direct insight into the research process, methodologies, and scientific directions carried out in the institute’s modern laboratories equipped with advanced scientific instruments.

Within the framework of the visit, students will become acquainted with the work carried out in various laboratories, receive detailed information about the activities of scientific staff, the equipment used, and the topics of ongoing research. They will also be presented with information on current directions in the field of biophysics and interdisciplinary approaches within the discipline.

Such visits are expected to help students observe their theoretical knowledge in a practical environment and stimulate interest in their future scientific activities. The Institute of Biophysics aims to continue developing scientific and educational relations with higher education institutions and to maintain its outreach and educational engagement with students.
