On July 4th, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Biophysics Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and Natural Resources (AR ETN) was held.
The meeting, chaired by the institute's director and ANAS member, Oktay Qasimov, discussed the semi-annual report on the scientific and organizational activities of the laboratories affiliated with the AR ETN Biophysics Institute for the year 2023, approval of questions regarding the admission examination for the Doctoral program in Philosophy at the Biophysics Institute, confirmation of questions related to the specialization in Genetics, approval of the results of the summer examination session held from June 1st to July 5th, 2023, for the Master's students in the "Biophysics" specialization for the academic year 2022/2023, the report on the scientific visit to Russia by the leading scientific staff members Ph.D., Associate Professor Sevinc Jafarova and Ph.D., Associate Professor, Ruhiyya Guliyeva from June 18th to 24th, 2023, as well as the certification results of the first-year Master's students in the "Biophysics" specialization for the academic year 2022/2023.
Subsequently, the information on the scientific visit to Russia by the leading scientific staff members Ph.D., Associate Professor, Sevinc Jafarova and Ph.D., Associate Professor, Ruhiyya Guliyeva from June 18th to 24th, 2023, was heard.
The report on the semi-annual reports of the laboratories by the Scientific Secretary of the Institute was heard.
It was decided that the semi-annual report on the scientific and organizational activities of the laboratories affiliated with the AR ETN Biophysics Institute for the year 2023 would be considered satisfactory.
The approval of the questions related to the admission examination for the Doctoral program in Philosophy at the Biophysics Institute, specializing in Genetics, was confirmed.
The results of the summer examination session held from June 1st to July 5th, 2023, for the Master's students in the "Biophysics" specialization for the academic year 2022/2023 were approved and presented to the Department of Science and Education of the Secretariat of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The report on the scientific visit to Russia by the leading scientific staff members Ph.D., Associate Professor, Sevinc Jafarova and Ph.D., Associate Professor, Ruhiyya Guliyeva from June 18th to 24th, 2023, was accepted.
The decision of the Certification Commission regarding the report on the first-year Master's students in the "Biophysics" specialization for the academic year 2022/2023 was approved.
