The final meeting of the Scientific Council for this year was held at the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS.

The event was opened by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Gasimov, who introduced the Council members to the agenda.

According to the agenda, a report was presented by Rasim Bakhtiyar oglu Aslanov, PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Senior Researcher at the "Structure, Dynamics, and Function of Biomolecules" Laboratory, who had been on a scientific mission in Ankara, Turkey, from November 5 to 12, 2018.

R. Aslanov provided a detailed presentation on his research work. Following the report, discussions were held, and questions were answered. By the decision of the Scientific Council, the report was deemed satisfactory and approved.

Next, Karim Gasimov, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Head of the "Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry" Laboratory, and Doctor of Biological Sciences, presented a report on scientific research conducted, projects implemented, and upcoming work at the institute during the year. His report on scientific and organizational activities was also deemed satisfactory.

At the end of the meeting, several current issues were discussed.
