A student from the 294th Secondary School has started participating in experiments at the Institute of Biophysics

Rasul Hamlet oglu Asadzade, a 10th-grade student of the 294th Secondary School in the Qaradag district of Baku, has begun participating in experiments and scientific research at the Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Laboratory of the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education.

On the first day of introduction, the student was provided with extensive information about the laboratory facilities, main directions of activity, and the scientific work conducted in the laboratories.

During the experiment, Rasul Asadzade was involved in the initial stages of cloning, specifically in the separation of genes and the isolation of plasmid DNA. Using classical and modern methods of molecular biology, he actively participated in the amplification of plasmid DNA in E. coli, its extraction from the culture, and the cleavage of the isolated plasmid with restriction enzymes.
