The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On October 31, 2025, the next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Oktay Gasimov.

The first item on the agenda concerned the approval of individual work plans of the PhD students admitted to the doctoral program at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025. The issue was discussed, and the individual work plans submitted by the doctoral students were thoroughly reviewed by the members of the Scientific Council and approved accordingly.

Subsequently, based on the letter of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 23, 2025 (No. 3-29/2-4136/2025), the draft admission plan for the 2026/2027 academic year for the PhD program at the Institute of Biophysics was discussed. An extensive exchange of views took place on the project, suggestions were voiced, and relevant decisions were adopted by the Scientific Council.

At the end of the meeting, current issues were discussed. Opinions were exchanged on increasing the efficiency of the Institute’s research activities, strengthening the scientific potential of young researchers, and implementing the planned measures for the upcoming period.
