Employees of the Institute of Biophysics Awarded by President Ilham Aliyev

According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated November 5, 2025, a group of scientists who have contributed to the development of Azerbaijani science have been awarded state honors. Among the awardees are employees of the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education.

According to the decree, the General Director of the Institute of Biophysics, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Kazim oghlu Gasimov, and the Head of the Laboratory of Integrative Biology at the Institute of Biophysics, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences Ilham Ayyub oghlu Shahmuradov were awarded the 3rd degree “Labor” Order for their services to the development of Azerbaijani science.

This high state award is a clear indication of the recognition at the national level of the scientific work, fundamental research, and contributions of the Institute’s staff to the advancement of science in the country.

The staff of the Institute of Biophysics sincerely congratulates Corresponding Members of ANAS Oktay Gasimov and Ilham Shahmuradov on this high award and wishes them new scientific achievements and continued success.
