The Institute of Biophysics of ANAS held an event dedicated to the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide

At the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy was held.

First, the memory of the martyrs was honored with one-minute silence.

Opening the event, the General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Oktay Gasimov stressed that the Khojaly genocide is forever inscribed in the history of Azerbaijan and in the bloody memory of our people.

Then the Head of the Department for Documentation of the Institute of Biophysics, Chairman of the Women council Asmer Mammadova told about the bloody crimes committed by the Armenian aggressors in Khojaly, about the details of the Khojaly genocide.

Then the Head of the Laboratory of Ecological Biophysics, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Tokay Huseynov made a speech and called the Khojaly genocide a crime against all mankind. He stressed the importance of constantly educating the younger generation about this tragedy.

At the end of the event, a video dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy was shown.
